BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a man for leading a police chase while riding a four-wheeler before posting the chase on social media, the Baton Rouge Police Department said.

Jayden James, 25, was booked on multiple traffic charges after police chased him around Alaska Street and West McKinley Street, arrest documents say.

According to BRPD, James was driving a lime green four-wheeler on Alaska Street. When an officer attempted to pull him over, he "began to swap lane from lane" in an attempt to get around the unit before doing a donut "to make his vehicle face the opposite direction."

Officials said James then ran a stop sign, turned onto West McKinley Street at a "high rate of speed" before running a red light at West McKinley and Highland Road. The affidavit details James passing vehicles illegally after turning onto Thomas H. Delpit Drive, almost causing a crash on Terrace Street by traveling in the wrong lane of travel, and losing police by driving into a field.

BRPD said that afterward, James posted a video of the pursuit on Instagram and on YouTube. James also reported the four-wheeler was stolen the day after the pursuit, arrest documents say.
