GONZALES — Dutchtown Point Avenue near Preserve Trail in Gonzales was closed following a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole on Saturday morning, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. 

The crash left one person seriously injured. They were later transported to a local hospital. 

Access to the City Heights Apartment Complex and The Preserve at Old Dutchtown was also closed due to roadway hazards, officials said. 

The roadways have since reopened.
