BATON ROUGE — One person is dead following an early Tuesday morning shooting along Washington Avenue. 

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office, 28-year-old Darius Chambers was found fatally shot near the intersection of Washington Avenue and North Foster Drive.

The coroner's office said this happened around 2 a.m.
