PLAQUEMINE - First responders in Iberville Parish are conducting a water rescue after a vehicle ran off of a highway and into a river. 

Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said that around 8:45 p.m., a vehicle veered off the highway near Jack Miller's Landing and crashed into the Upper Grand River. 

WBRZ crews are headed to the area. This is a developing story.
