HAMMOND — A tree fell on a Tangipahoa Parish home during strong thunderstorms on Monday afternoon. 

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said there was a report of a tree on a house and car in Natalbany. TPSO said there were no injuries reported. 

More than 4,500 people lost power in Tangipahoa Parish, according to Entergy's power outage map. 

The map shows several thousand customers without electricity, mostly scattered throughout the Hammond and Loranger areas. 

As reported by Storm Station Meteorologist Malcolm Byron, viewer-submitted video shows a possible tornado near Hammond.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Tangipahoa Parish through 3:45 p.m., as well as one for East Feliciana, West Feliciana and East Baton Rouge Parishes through 4:30 p.m.
