BATON ROUGE — Saint Clare Manor Nursing Home held a breast cancer and domestic violence awareness walk this morning.

Organizers say the event was a way to partner with the community and give residents the opportunity to participate in a worthy cause by wearing pink and purple.

The event also included activities for children, community booths and informational tables.
