Person of interest identified in connection with Houma stabbings that left 4 dead
HOUMA — A man was identified as a person of interest in connection with a series of stabbings in Houma that left four people dead on Saturday, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies originally responded to Ashland Drive, where they located a juvenile suffering from stab wounds. The juvenile was later flown to the hospital in critical condition.
During the course of the investigation, deputies discovered multiple deceased victims inside nearby homes, with four victims being pronounced dead.
On Saturday, detectives identified 47-year-old Kaegan Solet as a person of interest in connection with the stabbings.
