Popeye's employee arrested for attempted murder after shooting coworker
BATON ROUGE - A man was arrested for allegedly shooting at a coworker following an argument at Popeye's on O'Neal Lane.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said two employees got into an argument around 10:30 p.m. June 1. According to arrest documents, Kieran Johnson, 21, followed the victim outside of the restaurant and shot at him twice. The victim then ran to a nearby business for help.
Police spoke with other employees who were able to positively identify Johnson as the shooter. One of the employees that police spoke to was Johnson's mother.

Johnson was arrested Wednesday for attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.
