Man captured after Thursday manhunt charged with battery, restraining order violation
BATON ROUGE - The man arrested in March after an hours-long law enforcement search in the Old Jefferson area has been charged with domestic abuse and violating a restraining order.
William Heath Hebert II, 31, was arrested March 13 after a significant manhunt.
On May 13, he was charged with home invasion, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and violating a protective order. Investigators said Hebert is accused of smashing through the back door of a home of a woman courts had barred him from contacting and attacking her.
