BATON ROUGE — Louisiana is one of 20 states to join a Federal Trade Commission lawsuit against Dollar General. 

The complaint alleges that Dollar General uses deceptive pricing and charges customers more once they reach the register. 

The lawsuit also says that the company failed to fix the issue even though corporate leaders were aware. 

According to the FTC, these complaints are especially harmful to Dollar General's customer base, who are often low- and fixed-income shoppers.
