BATON ROUGE — Five Baton Rouge companies were named to Forbes America's Best-In-State Employers 2026 list, highlighting employers who stand out in workplace culture, wage parity, career advancement opportunities and employer responsiveness.

America's Best-In-State Employers 2026 were identified based on an independent survey of more than 245,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 workers. More than 2 million employer evaluations were considered. The final score was based on two types of evaluations: personal employee evaluations and public evaluations within the healthcare industry.

Baton Rouge-based companies that made the list include:
-Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
-Amedisys
-Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System
-Turner Industries
-State of Louisiana

In a prepared statement, FMOL leaders praised the hospital system’s inclusion on the list. It is FMOL’s third consecutive year on the list.
