BATON ROUGE — An East Baton Rouge Parish Public Schools bus was involved in a car crash near LSU's campus on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Gourrier Avenue. A spokesman for EBR Schools says a vehicle struck the school bus.

Emergency officials tell WBRZ that six people were transported to local hospitals, with all in stable condition. It's currently unclear whether the injured were students.

This is a developing story.
