Displaced residents seek missing family members

BATON ROUGE - With 10,000 people in shelters as of Sunday night and intermittent cell coverage for many residents of the area, some people are left wondering where members of their family are and hoping they're safe.

Due to the large number of requests we're receiving on social media, we've decided to compile missing persons requests into this web story. If you're looking for a loved one after being displaced by the storm, send an image and brief description along with contact information for yourself to news@wbrz.com. You can use the same email address to contact us if you know the whereabouts of one of these persons unless other contact information is specified. Please notify us when your missing person is found so that we can update the story.


"Bobby Anderson I love you please call home. 931-243-5570 – Margaret. He has dark hair, sideburns, beard. Army veteran. He’s probably about 5’10". Medium weight, very healthy."


"I'm looking for my brother Michael Leroy Fisher. He is stroke patient so he has walking deficits. He is 58. DOB 7/21/1958. Missing dentation. Was last know to be living in Ned drive near Gardere. Recently moved near LSU area, Prescott or Mall City. He has 2 small kids that may be with him a son and daughter around 8 to 10 years old. Please contact me 225-921-6312."

 


UPDATE: Bob was found safe at home.

"I am looking for my daddy, A.G. Kirby Jr. (aka) "Bob." He lives in Denham Springs,La. off of Range rd. He is 71 years old and walks with a cane ... He is very friendly and Very Very Talkative!!!!! He will be witnessing or talking about his cats!!!! We last spoke Saturday afternoon and I have been trying to reach him since 9:00 pm Saturday evening. If anyone has seen him or knows if he and his wife Kathy were rescued and brought to a shelter or knows which shelter they may have gone to, Please contact me! It's been days now and I have not been successful with my efforts in trying to find him! It's horrible not knowing if he is safe!!!" - pkirbyjr1970@yahoo.com



"Hi I am missing my family the lady at the top my sister n law her name is Deivory Foley, my son his name is Terrelle Foley he have autism, my daughter her name is Tori Foley she have seizures and my husband he have type 2 diabetes and he had a stroke also non one of them have not took their medication so can you please call me asap : my name is Ternisha Foley I am their mom, wife and sister n law you can contact me at 225-387-6409 and or please call me at 504-320-7360 they was rescued from a red cross    helicopters rescue them and took me and the rest of the family on the boat we really need to be reunited We our family!'


UPDATE: Mr. Rish was located by his family and is doing well. 

"This is Julien Rish, 79 year old male. He drove away from his home in South Baton Rouge around 11am August 16, 2016 in a black, 2009 Toyota Tacoma SS with a Tweety Bird sticker in the back window. He could be confused and disoriented. If anyone sees him please contact 225-755-3922."


"We are looking for my uncle Kenny or Kenneth Mcmillan he lives on Woodcliff dr in Sherwood Forest. We last heard from him Saturday afternoon. He is believed to have left with his neighbor, Wayne Dickey, but we are unsure of where to. If anyone has any information please contact me, Kelsey Harris, at 225 788 1862 or my mom, Karla Harris, at 225 721 3526." 



UPDATE: Tammy Allemand has been located.


"My sister Tammy allemand has been missing since yesterday when she was airlifted to a triage set up in Walker louisiana early yesterday. She is very sick might not remember her address or phone number. if any information please contact Stacey Stratton At 5043901462."- 


David Glenn Sims, last seen at his home at 9061 South Black Water on Friday. He works the night shift at Walmart at Siegen Lane. His mother is looking for him. Please contact (225) 356-2071. (No photo included.) 



"Dolly Stafford lives at Coliseum Ave. in BR. Her neighborhood was evacuated but we don't know her location as of now. She is 70 years old and is a retired CRNA.  All of her former co-workers are looking for her."



UPDATE: Terry Jones has been located. Family members say he is safe.

UPDATE: Carole Raborn has been located.

"We are looking for Tlmothy Booker. He was taken by an army vehicle to the Embassy Suites in College dr and we are told that he had a seizure and ems came and got him. We called hospitals and shelters and no word! Thanks for your HELP! My name is Ty Griffin and my contact number is 985-284-1181! You can also contact Micaela Blackwell at 225-610-2478. He has a seizure disorder and needs his medication. He also goes by Timmy or Tim."




UPDATE: Tyler Sullivan has been reported found.

"Tyler Cotner Sullivan. She is 15 years old. Approximately 5'6 and 120lb.  Last known location was Vincent road in Denham Springs. She has been separated from her family and we have no idea of her whereabouts or safety. A Facebook Page has been created with the goal of finding Tyler."



"Christopher Parker hasn't been seen since late Saturday evening. The last I heard from him he was heading his apartment off Nichelson/Highland and hasn't been seen since. Myself along with other friends has tried reaching his through phone and social media with no luck. Can you please let us know if he is safe!"   




UPDATE: Lisa and her two daughters were found safe. 

"Trying to find my Daughter, Lisa Quebedeaux and my 2 granddaughters, Olivia and Rebeca. The last time we have come into contact with them was 5 p.m. on Saturday. The one on the left is Rebecca Quebedeaux. Middle one is Lisa Quebedeaux. The one on the right is Olivia Quebedeaux."




"Our Dad, Herman Achtermeyer, has not been seen or heard from since about 10:00 a.m. yesterday. We know he left his house in his SUV. If you see an older blue Tahoe..... This is very out of character for him. He lives near Woodlawn in Baton Rouge. We filed a report with the police. We are praying but we need help."




"I cannot get into contact with my ex-boyfriend. His house is on Groom Street in Baker and I'm not sure if this area is flooded. I do not have a picture but his name is Tyrell Leatherman."


UPDATE: As of 8/15/2016 11:40 p.m., the Facebook page "Louisiana Flood - Lost and Found" lists Mike and Rachel as found.

"Trying to locate my wife's cousin Mike and Rachel McKinnis. Address is 687 Hunter's Way, Denham Springs"



"My sister and I are looking for our mother, Shannon Kirkendoll, who was trapped in her home at 8961 Shadow Bluff in Shadow Book Estates, with rising floodwaters on Saturday evening."

Also looking for my daughter, Kathee Mobley from Denham Springs, La.
Both family's have been relocated to shelters. Have not been able to contact either since Saturday morning. "



UPDATE: Joe's mother says he has been located.

Joe Glynn Isham was last seen Thursday evening around 5 p.m. in the Central area. His family describes him as 32-years-old, 5'10, medium weight, with shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a "Dimebag Darrel" tattoo on his right calf and "evil yellow smiley face" on one shoulder. Isham drives a dark green 1995 Chevy Z71, "severly rusted, with paper license in back window." Joe's mother, Susan Shields, can be reached by calling or texting 225-235-0909.




UPDATE: Gretchen Smith has been found. She is safe.


"I'm trying to locate my sister, Gretchen Smith. I talked to her Sunday just before she was evacuated from her home in Prairieville. She may have been taken to Lamar Dixon." Smith's sister, Shirley Fleniken, can be reaced by calling 225-937-5109. - *FOUND SAFE*
