14-year-old charged for allegedly shooting other teen while disassembling gun
BATON ROUGE — A 14-year-old has been arrested for accidentally shooting another 14-year-old, the Baton Rouge Police Department said Monday.
According to police, the two teens were at a home along Mohican-Prescott Crossover on Aug. 22.
One of them was disassembling a gun when it discharged, hitting the other teenager, BRPD said.

The injured 14-year-old was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other was arrested and charged with negligent injuring.
