BATON ROUGE - The third suspect with an arrest warrant issued for his alleged involvement in the hazing death of Caleb Wilson, Isaiah Smith, has been arrested Tuesday morning.
Smith turned himself in to the Violent Crimes Unit. His bond hearing was scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. WBRZ will have more information following that hearing.
Smith is the son of Todd Smith, who owns California Hardwood. Smith's business was leasing a space in the warehouse where the hazing allegedly happened. Both Smith and his son are fraternity members.
Arrest documents alleged the three suspects — Caleb McCray, Kyle Thurman and Smith — punched Omega Psi Phi pledge Caleb Wilson in the chest multiple times with boxing gloves as part of a hazing ritual.
