Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre takes the stage with 'The Nutcracker: A Tale on the Bayou' this weekend

BATON ROUGE - It's time for sugar plum fairies, fighting mice and dancing with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre's "The Nutcracker: A Tale on the Bayou."
BRBT is putting on its 32nd annual production of the musical this weekend.
There will be four showings of the production on Dec. 20 and 21 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Raising Cane's River Center Theater.
Tickets can be purchased from the River Center box office or online.
WBRZ's Abigail Whitam will be performing as the "peach mom" in the party scene for the Sunday showing.
