GROSSE TETE - A search party is gathering Tuesday for a 22-year-old Texas woman who has been missing for nearly three weeks.

Christin Munn Holliday, also known as Chrissy, was last seen by her parents on Sept. 29 in Katy, Texas, after she dropped her children off and left for Louisiana in a dark-colored BMW.

A crash involving multiple vehicles happened near the Whiskey Bay exit on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge on Sept. 30. When state police arrived, they found her BMW abandoned and witnesses reported that she walked away from the scene.

A gas station in Lafayette is one of the last places her phone pinged.

Louisiana State Police joined the investigation on Oct. 1.

Since then, the United Cajun Navy has joined law enforcement in the search and the family is offering a $20,000 reward for her safe return.

A search party is gathering at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
