BATON ROUGE - Former LSU EDGE rusher Jack Pyburn, who is currently signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was reportedly granted a temporary restraining order that would allow him to play college football and enter the transfer portal.

On3's Pete Nakos reported that Pyburn, along with other former college players, filed a lawsuit in Louisiana for their fifth year of eligibility.

Pyburn's lawsuit against the NCAA is currently filed, with him being represented by Tony Clayton and the case being overseen by Judge William Jorden.

Pyburn played for the University of Florida before transferring to LSU in 2025. He registered two sacks in his one season with LSU, and also registered two sacks in one preseason game with the Buccaneers.
