PHOENIX, Ariz - LSU gymnastics head coach Jay Clark has some pretty nice reinforcements for his program coming in the pipeline. LSU gymnastics commit Hezly Rivera repeated as the United States all-around gymnastics champion at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships.

On the second day of the event, Rivera was in fourth place after a fall on the uneven bars. She bounced back to score a combined 111.95 on the day to shoot back into first place and become the first woman to come back from fourth to win the all-around title at the U.S Championships.

Rivera is the second woman to win back-to-back all-around titles, and the first to do it since Simone Biles 13 years ago. She was also a member of the American Olympic team that won gold at the 2024 Olympics.
