LSU freshman allegedly raped by man who offered a ride home from Tigerland early Sunday
BATON ROUGE – An LSU freshman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man who drove her home from Tigerland early Sunday morning, The Advocate reported.
The student reported the incident to LSU Police, saying that an older Black man approached her and offered her a ride home as she was leaving Tigerland Saturday night. The victim told police that she was sexually assaulted before being dropped off at her dorm.
At 1:48 a.m. Sunday, officers met the student at Annie Boyd Hall on LSU’s campus.
LSU Police are looking for the man now wanted for third-degree rape.
