GONZALES — The Capital Area Agency on Aging's Annual Health Fair was held Thursday morning in Gonzales. 

The health fair was held at Lamar-Dixon's REV Center. 

Various organizations set up at Lamar-Dixon to promote health, independence and better quality of life for older adults across 10 parishes.

This year's theme is "Healthy Hearts, Happy Lives." 

"It gives them a chance to come together, not only for the camaraderie and social aspects, but also to learn about things that can improve their lives," Craig Kaberline, the Capital Area Agency's executive director, said.
