BATON ROUGE - An annual financial literacy event is returning to Baton Rouge's children's museum this weekend.

The "Earn and Learn Financial Literacy Weekend" at the Knock Knock Children's Museum introduces children to financial literacy through hands-on activities across 18 learning zones.

Visitors can complete jobs in each zone to earn wooden tokens, which they can save or spend at the Earn and Learn Shop.

Volunteers from the Society of Louisiana CPAs will guide children through tasks such as working at a farmers market, in a garage, or in a restaurant, and donating food.

The activities are designed to help children explore career pathways, money identification and financial decision-making.

The event is Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14. Admission is free on Sunday.
