Harvest Festival on False River 2026

WBRZ News 2 Louisiana

WBRZ is coming 2 your town!

WBRZ is heading to Pointe Coupee Parish this fall to join New Roads for the 2026 Harvest Festival on False River, a cherished community tradition that celebrates local agriculture, vibrant music, and small-town charm. Just a short drive from Baton Rouge, the festival packs the weekend of October 30 – November 1 with exciting carnival rides, live musical performances, local food, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities right along Main Street in downtown New Roads.

Starting the week leading up to the festival, the Channel 2 news team will highlight the people, businesses, and rich agricultural history that make New Roads stand out. Twice a day, our reporters will share community spotlights that capture the town’s character, culture, and the hardworking folks who keep Pointe Coupee Parish moving forward.

Then on Friday, October 30, WBRZ will broadcast live from the Harvest Festival grounds in downtown New Roads. We’re inviting residents and visitors to stop by, say hello, and celebrate with Baton Rouge’s only locally owned news station!
