CAPE CANAVERAL- SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule arrived Sunday morning to the International Space Station, docking shortly after 9 a.m.

Astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are expected to exit the space craft, successfully completing the first leg of SpaceX's mission. The Astronauts are expected to stay on board the space station anywhere between one and three months.

It took 19 hours for the spacecraft to travel from Florida's Kennedy Space Center Saturday. Upon arrivial, the crew had to go through a process to make sure the spacecraft successfully linked to the port including linking power and creating an air locked seal before opening the hatch.

The successful launch marked the first time in nearly a decade that NASA astronauts were blasted to space from the historic launchpad in Florida.
