Man arrested in connection to 16 business burglaries in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE - A man connected to 16 burglaries throughout Baton Rouge has been arrested, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Detectives arrested Anthony Knighten, 33, for his alleged involvement in the burglaries. Police said the burglaries occurred during May and June of this year.

Knighten was linked to burglaries at several businesses:

KFC/ Taco Bell, 6895 Airline Hwy (3 counts)

Popeye’s, 5946 Airline Hwy.

Taco Bell, 3907 Hollywood

Raising Cane’s, 5020 Government

Subway, 5248 Corporate 

Taco Bell, 9798 Greenwell Springs

Sonic, 8223 Airline Hwy 

Jimmy John’s, 8190 Jefferson Hwy.

Custom Linens, 8210 Jefferson Hwy.  

Craven Crawdads, 2510 S Sherwood Forest

Sonic, 1801 S Sherwood Forest

Subway, 9462 Florida Blvd.

Baskin Robins, 7529 Jefferson Hwy.

McDonalds, 8009 Florida Blvd.
