FINAL: Saints lose 20-10 to Tampa Bay; first regular season loss to Buccaneers since 2018
NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Saints fall to the Tampa Bay Bucs 20-10 in the Superdome thanks in part to the offenses 5 turnovers. 3 of them came from quarterback Jameis Winston's interceptions in the 4th quarter.
The Saints defense played well for most of the game, shutting out the Bucs in the first half. But in the 4th quarter a fight broke out between Bucs running back Leonard Fournette, Saints corner Marshon Lattimore, and Bucs receiver Mike Evans. Both Evans and Lattimore would get kicked out of the game.
Brady then took the Bucs offense down the field for the go ahead touchdown, then things started to unfold after that.
The Saints defense only allowed 72 rushing yards, and under 300 total yards for the game but it was the offensive mistakes that lost them the game. In the 3rd and 4th quarter New Orleans turned the ball over on 5 out of 6 possessions.
Heading into next week their are question marks if Winston will play, on Sunday the QB played with 4 fractures in his back.
New Orleans travels to Carolina next week.
